Notices

You should have all received your renewal letter and forms for the year commencing April 1st 2010.

You should please note that on the renewal form, we have asked for the number on your Barrier Card.
This is because some members upon leaving the Club have not handed their cards back in, and some have given them to other people.

In order for this not to happen it would be much appreciated if you add this number to your form and then once entered
on the Computer those cards not showing that the member is in fact a current paid up member will have the card deleted from the system.

Also with immediate effect the new Zappers will cost £60 and the Barrier cards £30.
If you have any queries with regard to your membership forms then please contact Valerie Deane

valeriedeane7.orangehome.co.uk.

It has been agreed by the Social Committee with the full consent of the
General Committee that Members who attend paid functions should be rewarded.

Therefore it has been agreed that commencing from the New Years Bash, any
member who pays to attend a function (whatever the Cost) is rewarded with a
£1 token. This can be taken off the entrance fee of their next paid
function, or saved until few pounds have been accumulated and then used.
The idea is to encourage members to attend the functions on a regular basis
and to enable the costs to be kept down and for members to enjoy the
facilities the club offers.

We look forward to seeing you..

The Social Committee

Thanks Valerie

I am pleased to advise that our Insurance Brokers and advisors Heath Lambert
have arranged for the Club to receive 10% commission on all new Yacht and
boat policies taken out as a result of referrals received by them from
Members of the Island Yacht Club. This means that members can now take
advantage of the very competetive rates available through Heath Lambert to
save money and the Island Yacht Club will benefit too.

Please contact: Alison Melia at Heath Lambert on 0151 227 4321

email amelia@heathlambert.com

Many thanks Valerie Deane Vice Commodore
